Lisa Meyerhofer ARAD,RADTC

Lisa started her training in the Waterloo area 40 years ago.She continued her training locally  until age 17 when she was accepted to the prestigious Professional Program with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Lisa then moved on to The Alberta Ballet Company performing roles such as Grandma, Head Snowflake, Chinese , Spanish, Waltz in Nutcracker,  Head Mazurka Girl,Irish Doll in Coppelia. Lisa has received many overall awards for excellence in choreography at competitions and festivals throughout North America. Lisa has worked for world known companies such as Estee Lauder and Walt Disney World. Lisa took over her home dance school in 1987 and Meyerhofer was born. Lisa started her teaching career at age 14 heading YMCA’s dance program under Mr.Cooper. Since opening the Meyerhofer Academy of Dancing her students have gone on to receive scholarships for The National Ballet of Canada, Royal Winnipeg, George Brown, Ryerson, U of W, Banff School of Arts and Joffrey Ballet School.  Lisa has many students who have been in or are in the Phantom of The Opera Toronto cast and touring, Joffrey, La La La Human Steps , Cirque De Soleil, Celine Dion Vegas Show, My Fair Lady, 42nd Street, Bossov Ballet Theater and various cruise ships. Lisa 's students have also excelled in the Royal Academy of Dancing exams making her not only a well respected dance teacher but a much sought after adjudicator. 

Corinna Nickless

Corinna has been teaching at the Meyerhofer Academy of Dancing for 6 years. Corinna comes to us with 31 years of dance experience.She is qualified to teach both RAD and CDTA syllabus, Aerobics, Step and Weight Training. Corinna also danced with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens.Corinna is a very consistent and precise teacher our dancers love her up beat and caring nature. Corinna choice to teach at Meyerhofer because of our outstanding reputation for superior training, with teachers like Corinna we are able to maintain that reputation.

Meaghan Dietrich

Meaghan began her training in the Waterloo area 22 years ago. Meaghan was accepted to the National Ballet School of Canada at the age of 12, she continued  her training at the National Ballet becoming a Graduate in 2004.Meaghan increased her knowledge and experience when attending The Edge in Los Angeles. She is a qualified personal trainer and has performed professionally with. Meaghans love for her students and Dance is evident in each of the classes she teaches.

Amber Bagshaw A.R.A.D

Amber is a graduate of Meyerhofer where she began her training at the age of 3 and continued to the level of the prestigious  Solo Seal. Amber has performed with Ballet Jorgen, Carribean Cruise Lines, Magic shows. She returns to us qualified to teach all dance forms and is a qualified Zumba teacher. Amber also did all the renovations in our expansion!! Welcome back Amber.

Sheri Hayes

Sheri is an accomplished gymnastics trainer, coach and athlete who has been teaching "Acro Dance" for the past 6 years. Sheri’s unique training styles include goal management and written training goals which produces results while her students feel safe executing their acro technique.  Sheri is well known for her strength and flexibility training. Sheri has been a gymnastics and trampoline coach for 20 years . Sheri has achieved many training certificates in both Men's and Woman's NCCP certifications. She enjoys sharing her love of gymnastics with all her students. Sheri is proud of her students "tumbling around the world"  with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Disney Cruise Lines and many more places all over the world.  

Jade Percival

Jade has been dancing at Meyerhofer since the age of 3. She is an award winning dancer /choreographer, and experienced actor and singer. Jade attends Eastwood Collegiate in the arts program majoring in dance, was a finalist 2011 Bernice Adams Fund, Dancer Of the Year,2007,2009,2011, SuperSoloist 2009, 2010,2011, played the role of a orphan in KW Musical Productions Annie, and is currently working towards her Advance 2 Royal Academy of Dancing.Miss Percival's love of Theatre and Dance landed her on the roster of the Prestigious Agency The Talent House. Jades passion and skill also won her a spot at the Shakespeare School in Stratford and Toronto Dance Theater as well as a scholarship to both Broadway Dance Centre and Steps on Broadway in New York City.This is Jade's second year of teaching Jade has won many Choreography awards including Young Choreographer Of The Year 2010 and 2011. Jades young dancers will very often request her for their teacher and she has long been a mentor to our Elite Competitive Team.
